| Summer '09: The Academy by Pike University |
|
Members of the Kappa Zeta chapter attended this summer's Academy by Pike University in Memphis, TN. Much was learned from the programs and discussions there. The attendees will, without a doubt, improve the leadership and standing of the Kappa Zeta chapter and themselves through the individual insights and improvements gained there.
At The Academy, Kappa Zeta was also awarded the Harvey T. Newell Most Improved Chapter in the Nation award. This award is given out annually to ONE of Pike's over 200 chapters, and Kappa Zeta beat out five finalist chapters to earn it. Our chapter was also given Pike's Excellence award, given to the top 20% of Pike chapters.

Four brothers from the Kappa Zeta Chapter recently attended the CEC in Memphis, TN during the first weekend of the new year. Many rush tactics that will be implemented at Spring Rush this year were learned and the chapter as a whole benefited greatly from the experiences of these four. | Spring '07 Leadership Summit in Atlanta |

Kevin KnausOn the weekend of February 23-25, five Pikes from the Kappa Zeta Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha attended a leadership conference in Atlanta. The conference held many seminars teaching Pikes techniques and skills that are necessary in leading and improving a chapter. These men attended the weekend: Steve Gerl, Tyler Lloyd, Patrick Read, Michael Rolf, and Jason Thiem. The knowledge gained from this events will assuredly translate to big things for this chapter. |
