The Kappa Zeta Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha is committed to helping others and service work. Last year our chapter had the most community service hours of any fraternity on the University of Louisville's campus. Here are some of the service prjoects we are currently involved in:
Adopt a Highway
Our chapter has adopted 3rd Street from Univerity of Louisville down to Main Street. We do a number of group cleanups to make sure our highway is looking good.
Cochran Elementary
We are currently involved in a prolong after school program with the kids of Cochran Elementary. This started in Fall of 2010 when we started teaching the kids soccer as an after school activity. After the soccer season was over we bgan teaching basketball and are now currently working on track. The kids all love learning new sports and we are proud to be able to help one of the local schools.
